Welcome to the official website for Ben Janik. I play the guitar - primarily Jazz, but also Rock, Blues, Funk and most popular styles of guitar. I am available to do any kind of work relating to the guitar, be it performing (for you or with you), teaching, or recording.
I have been doing a great deal of teaching lately, and I am excited to do more. Please view my teaching page for more information. I also am very available and able to perform in almost any situation. Please view my performance page for upcoming performances, information on having live jazz music (solo guitar or bands) for your events, or if you need a guitarist for your own gigs.
I am currently working on releasing my first album, which should not be expected any time soon. In the meantime, I have some demo recordings available here under "Listen to my Music." I have recorded with the jazz/fusion group Nexus on their album Afterwards, which can be purchased while supplies last (contact me to order). I also have been getting out my thoughts on music and other things, and this writing will appear under "Blog."
